The bachelor of science degree in Criminal Justice is a generalist degree preparing students for careers in law enforcement, corrections, and other public and private agencies concerned with the prevention and investigation of crime. This preparation includes a combination of course work, internships, and special research projects. Students considering this major are encouraged to develop a proficiency in writing. The degree is also appropriate for students who choose to pursue advanced study in criminal justice or law.
